JLC LIVE NEW ENGLAND ATTENDANCE GROWS NEARLY 10%

Dallas, TX - April 6, 2011 - Residential construction professionals converged on the Rhode Island Convention Center March 23 - 26 eager to learn and do business.  The re-vamped 2011 New England event provided attendees with more exhibits and new show features.  The excitement and buzz of this most-anticipated annual regional event translated into 206 exhibiting companies (a 15% increase over the 2010 event) and a total verified attendance of 6,942 (a 9% increase over the 2010 event).

Exhibiting companies filled the exhibit hall floor, spilling into the lobby, providing construction pros with 51,810 square feet of cutting edge products, services and live educational demonstrations.  The pros crowded the exhibit hall on Friday and did not want to leave on Saturday, learning all they could to build their businesses and took home numerous deals on tools and building products.

"JLC LIVE has an energy and a vibe that has to be experienced.  That energy combined with word-of-mouth, new show features, people's cautiously optimistic outlook on the economy along with numerous incremental changes behind the scenes all culminated into this year's successful event, stated Amy Allen, Director of JLC LIVE, Remodeling Show and DeckExpo.

"Seven years now I've been coming to this one here in Providence and I get quite a bit out of it.  I buy some new tools, I get to learn about new tools coming out and also a lot of the new products that are here that help me enhance and help my business grow every year," shared Kreg McMahon of Kreg's Custom Carpentry from Huntersville, North Carolina.
