New Construction Door Installation Featuring Marvin Doors
Experience this simple and effective manufacturer’s technique for installing a Marvin patio door in a new construction application. Attendees will come away with a solid understanding of the best practices to use when installing a Marvin door in a wood-framed wall using the latest flashing and insulating materials and techniques.  Principles of effective air, water, and vapor management in the wall system will also be covered.

New code requirements are calling for more energy efficient walls and windows. Foam board applied over exterior sheathing is becoming a common practice and is an effective way of achieving this goal.  Installing windows in this wall condition can be tricky. Experience the evolution as we demonstrate the latest materials and techniques for installing and integrating a Marvin Tri-pane window in this type of high-R wall system.
